Treasurer
Kacper has loved the mountains since being able to walk, anything connected remotely to the mountains and outdoors makes his imagination go wild. With a lot of experience and love of the mountains he will plan amazing trips for people of all skills and experience to enjoy.

Sarah Johnston
Vice-President
Sarah is a second year archaeology student and a keen hiker. She loved the club so much last year she quickly joined the committee as Social Media Officer! This year she is very excited to be VP and can’t wait to meet all kinds of new and amazing people!!

Johannes Girsch
Secretary
Johannes is a regular feature on our walks and residential trips. Originally from a very small village in Austria, he enjoys leaving the huge metropolis for which the Hiking Society has the perfect opportunities! As Secretary Johannes takes care of our email newsletters and other general organisation.

Louise Bresson
Outreach and Welfare Officer
Louise is in her last year of her BSc Molecular Biology. She is the newest member of the club in the committee but she is already a familiar face within the society. As the welfare officer, she takes great pride in making all members feel welcome and included and will be responsible for running Project Active, ThisGirlCan and TeamUCL's pride in sport affiliated events. Louise will also be involved in the hiking club volunteering events to help extend the clubs community spirit beyond its members.

Barbara Leger
Social Secretary
Barbara is a 2nd-year geography student who loves swimming and getting her head out of London once a week with the hiking club. She’s born in France but has never lived there, and so far, has spent the longest time of her life living in Seoul, South Korea. As she’s really chatty, she’s always up for a coffee/pint, although she is most often found dressed in a big, comfy sweater at the library.

Duncan Raitt
Marketing Officer
Duncan is a Scottish mountaineer in the first year of a Mechanical Engineering PhD. He has an enthusiasm for all things nerdy or outdoors, and is excited to get started enhancing the website and kit.

Elly Chaw
President
Elly is one with nature and adventure. A third-year English Literature student, she loves the smell of new books, food, travel, and living off her Fjällräven backpack. We heard she's quite chatty and lively too. She aims to bring the hiking club both literally and metaphorically to greater heights, so you should look forward to that!
